Happy Tuesday, space fans!
Another day, another crop of exciting space news. This morning, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot and NASA astronaut Anil Menon set out on another spacewalk to replace a faulty antenna on the ISS. Last week, on Aug. 18, the pair set out on their first spacewalk to solve this problem and were unable to remove the failed antenna before running out of time. Today, they've set out yet again into space to replace the part with a working antenna. The first of these two spacewalks saw Sophie Adenot becoming the first French woman to ever conduct a spacewalk, and now she's once again pushing forward out into space. Also in orbit, a team of NASA satellites have successfully aced a test where they had to navigate without GPS, essentially testing to see if they could recover and find their way if they ever got lost in space. And thankfully, they could. And we are just days away from NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launching — follow along as we count down with live updates!

Did you watch Sophie Adenot and Anil Menon conduct their second spacewalk in just about a week? Astronauts have previously reported how physically strenuous these spacewalks can be, and to go back out after completing a nearly six-and-a-half hour spacewalk just about a week ago takes serious stamina. I hope that after this antenna swap is fully complete, the pair can get some rest time back onboard the station.
Moving forward into the week, Thursday (Aug. 27) night we will have a partial lunar eclipse. So check to see if it will be visible from your neighborhood and make a watch plan! And as we look forward to this eclipse, we are also racing toward Roman launch! This Sunday (Aug. 30), NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is set to liftoff from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
