Happy Monday, space fans
We are once again setting sail into a brand new week. With the eclipse behind us and the Roman Space Telescope launch coming up, there is always something amazing happening in space. First off, in a new study, scientists have spotted three supermassive black holes that are about to smash into one another. And speaking of explosive, China is bouncing back after the recent explosion with their Long March rocket. But it isn't all good news, as recent wildfires that have ripped across the Pacific Northwest in the U.S. have been so expansive and devastating that the smoke is visible from space.
Check out what's big in space below:

That's it for our space update today!
We are still reeling from the total solar eclipse last week, but we are marching forward as amazing and surprising things just keep happening in space! We are now less than a couple of weeks away from the launch of NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Space.com representatives will be reporting live from this launch, and we can't wait to take you along with us. A massive flagship telescope launching on a Falcon Heavy? It's going to be epic.
To follow closely along and stay up to date with all things space, you can now get Space.com right in the palm of your hand with our new app available now on iOS and Android.
