GLOBE Cup Challenge Information Session:  Thursday, June 11, at Noon EDT Challenge Dates:  Thursday, June 11 - Sunday, July 19 Contact: communications@nasaglobe.org   Whether you play soccer, cheer from the sidelines, coach a team, or simply live near a field, you can help investigate the environment where soccer is played in your community.   During the World Cup, GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) invites you to join participants around the world to take observations of air temperature, surface temperature, and/or land cover at your local soccer field, park, schoolyard, or anywhere people play soccer. Your observations can help us explore how playing environments differ across regions, climates, and field surfaces. Hack Club: Stardance Challenge Challenge Dates: Now through Sept. 30 Contact: stardance@hackclub.com   NASA and Hack Club invite students ages 13 to 18 to flex their creativity this summer with the Stardance Challenge. Participants can create anything from code and apps to electronics, circuit boards, models, and simulations. Hack Club will offer peer and expert reviews, prizes, and opportunities to show off your work. Funding Opportunity Call for Proposals: MUREP Partnership Learning Annual Notification (MPLAN) Awards Proposal Deadline: Thursday, June 18 Contact: tracey.washington@nasa.gov   NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement’s Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) is seeking proposals from minority-serving institutions (MSIs) to promote research collaboration with NASA mission directorates. Funding up to $50,000 per award supports teams from universities, colleges, and community colleges designated as MSIs to develop innovative ideas and action plans for commercialization.
