Happy Tuesday, space fans
We are starting off with an exciting launch from SpaceX, which launched its first Starfall spacecraft on the first of at least two demos to test the vehicle's ability to operate in space and return safely to Earth. Starfall is SpaceX's newest cargo transportation vehicle designed to carry science equipment and cargo to low-Earth orbit. For now, the company plans to launch the vehicle on suborbital flights and later on flights into low-Earth orbit to test to see how far it can go, though right now Starfall is still lacking a way to deorbit itself or even a propulsion system.
Beyond Starfall, we are excited to share that NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has arrived safely in Florida! The space telescope is still very much on-track for a targeted Aug. 30 launch date. Weeks ahead of schedule and sitting at the launch site, things are looking good for Roman. We also have a seriously strange exoplanet, and we sat down with the folks behind "Rick and Morty" to get an inside look at the beloved animated series. And for those of you who love space just as much as we do, we just launched the Space.com app available on both iOS and Android!

That's it for our space update today!
With Roman safely at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida we are excitedly awaiting the final pieces coming together ahead of an expected Aug. 30 launch. This is going to be a seriously spectacular launch on SpaceX's massive Falcon Heavy rocket. And coming up later this week, we expect to have new, inside information to share on the Space Shuttle Endeavour's remodeled new home at the California Science Center. We are also expecting some big news in science, but that's all I can tell you about that for now!
For those looking to learn more and connect, check out Space.com's new app, which just launched on both iOS and Android. And for the gear-inclined who might be in search of their new favorite telescope, eyepiece, or even Lego set, check out Space.com's Prime Day recommendations.
