Become a Local Lead for the

2026 NASA Space Apps Challenge

Bring NASA's largest annual hackathon to your community by becoming a NASA Space Apps Challenge Local Lead! This year’s hackathon will be held Nov. 14-15.

During this two-day event, participants from around the world will use NASA open data to respond to challenges we face as we aim for the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Last year, the NASA Space Apps Challenge was held at 551 local events in 167 countries!

By hosting a hackathon in your own city or town, you can join a collaborative community of thought leaders in space, tech, and innovation.
