NASA EXPRESS -- Your STEM Connection for April 16, 2026

NASA STEM Engagement

Celebrate Citizen Science Month

Some of NASA’s groundbreaking research can only happen with the help of volunteers. With just your phone or computer, you can help NASA uncover new discoveries and expand our understanding of the universe — all while improving life on Earth! From chasing auroras to discovering new worlds and exploring distant galaxies, NASA's citizen science projects prove what’s possible when we do science together.

For Citizen Science Month, we’re embarking on an incredible mission to achieve something amazing – 2.50 Million Acts of Science! Join this impactful effort, and let’s prove what’s possible when we team up for science.

Welcome Home, Artemis II!

NASA’s Artemis II crew splashed down off the coast of San Diego on Friday, April 10 after a 10-day, record-setting mission around the Moon. The four astronauts traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history, surpassing the previous distance record set by the Apollo 13 crew in 1970.

Visit the Artemis II website to revisit mission milestones, see the latest images, and explore what comes next.
