Virtual Opportunities for Students

High School Internship with NASA’s Neurodiversity Network

NASA’s Neurodiversity Network (N3) is accepting applications for summer interns to work on projects with NASA scientists. N3 provides experiences for outstanding high school students, including those who identify as autistic, to spark interest in STEM careers. Participants complete approximately 160 hours of remote work during a flexible summer schedule and will receive a $1k stipend. Applicants must have completed pre-calculus and at least two years of physical science courses.

Virtual Career Connection: Precision Crafted – The Art and Science of Spacecraft Manufacturing

Have you ever wondered how NASA builds a spacecraft that can carry astronauts around the Moon? Join us for a virtual event to connect with a panel of Artemis manufacturing experts who helped turn raw materials into mission-ready hardware for one of the most ambitious spaceflights in history.

 

This event is designed for high school, career technical/trade education, and college/university students. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the presenters’ career journeys.

NASA’s Science Mission Directorate seeks proposals from academic institutions to collaborate with NASA Centers to advance NASA’s scientific priorities and train the future STEM workforce. COMPASS prioritizes collaborations with academic institutions that have not traditionally been funded by NASA and creates undergraduate and graduate student research opportunities that provide professional development opportunities for students.
