A volcano erupts, An asteroid flies by

Hey, Space Fans! We've got an extra bit of space news to get you through the weekend today. First off, in some cosmic timing, an ancient volcano in Ethiopa erupted for the first time in 12,000 years (as far back as we we know) and satellites caught some awesome photos from space.

The asteroid Eros will fly by the Andromeda Galaxy tonight, and you can watch it live with our guide. (Bonus: See our guide on how to see Saturn and Jupiter with a telescope!)

Cyber Monday is approaching so don't sleep on our best space deals so far. You can find discounts on sci-fi streaming services, awesome Star Wars lightsabers and astrophotograpy cameras at the same time.

December is almost here and that means a new month of skywatching. Tune in tomorrow for those guides!

Keep looking up,

Tariq Malik
