In the News Many of us may be feeling especially resentful of daylight saving time this week. Yesterday, we lost an hour of sleep. And now it’s darker in the morning when we’re trying to wake up for school of work. If you’re anti–daylight saving, you’re not alone. Some scientists, too, say it’s time to nix the system. The reason: Changing clocks and losing morning sunlight can throw our circadian rhythms out of whack. That, in turn, has been linked to health problems. And it may be especially tough on teens — whose internal clocks are already naturally shifting, and who often have to wake up too early for school, anyway.
