We have lots of stories for your Thursday, starting with the head of the Trump administration's Golden Dome program stating that the technology to create the Golden Dome missile defense system is already here. The system is designed to be able to shoot down incoming hypersonic, cruise and ballistic missiles from space.

Other headlines include finding water ice on the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS that may be older than Earth, astronomers may have solved a chemistry mystery found in Europa's oceans, a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne's space and science fiction influences and "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" showrunners dive into the sci-fi show's baddies: the Gorn.

We have all that and more for your daily read.

Thanks for exploring with us.

Keep looking up,

Kenna
