Inside Science News Explores

So, you may have noticed something different about us lately. No, it isn't a new haircut. It's a new name! The digital magazine formerly known as Science News for Students is now Science News Explores, and you can find us at the new web address www.snexplores.org. (Don't fret, longtime readers. Old sciencenewsforstudents.org links will automatically redirect to the corresponding pages on the new website.)

While our online Science News Explores makeover may be hard to miss, you might not have noticed that we launched a print magazine by the same name in May. This ink-and-paper publication will run 10 issues per year, each containing content from our digital magazine, as well as activities and other bonus features available only in print. So, if you know any curious kids ages 9 and up, go subscribe!

With all this change afoot, it's worth noting what will stay the same. Science News Explores is committed to delivering the award-winning science journalism we have produced since 2003. Our free digital magazine will also continue serving up explainers, glossary terms, classroom questions and other resources to help learners of all ages get the most from our content. We're excited to enter this new era of our publication with you, and we hope you are too. Come explore with us.
