It's Friday space fans!

We have made it to the end of the week, but that doesn't mean there isn't news to share, starting with new videos and photos from Starship's historic 10th flight that happened this week. These show the wear and tear of the spacecraft as well as how much power was involved in lifting it up into space.

Other headlines for today include scientists about to unleash a powerful new weapon in the hunt for dark matter, a new exclusive 'Foundation' Season 3 clip that sees a tense face-off and a mouse study showing spaceflight may not be an issue for sperm production.

It's also Friday so as we head into the weekend we have your weekly staff recommendations of "what we're reading/playing/watching."  You'll find those suggestions from our team at the bottom of your newsletter and heads up, for this week, we have a lot of 'Alien:Earth' reviews!

Thanks for exploring with us.
Keep looking up,

What we're reading/playing/watching

It's Friday, which means it's time to kick back, recharge and dive into something stellar. Whether you're looking to unwind with a mind-bending sci-fi series or lose yourself in a video game, we've got you covered. Here's what the Space.com team is enjoying this weekend: our latest recs to inspire, entertain, and fuel your curiosity about the universe.

Anthony Wood, Skywatching Writer: "I'm working through the 'Predator'/'Alien'/'Bladerunner' franchises in chronological order!"

Brett Tingley, Managing Editor: "I'm watching 'Alien: Earth' on Hulu. It really nails the vibe of the classic 'Alien' films but brings in elements of today's technology to really make it feel new again. Instant classic."

Tariq Malik, Editor-in-Chief: "I too am watching 'Alien: Earth' on Hulu and it has be super excited for the new 'Predator: Badlands' film that will feature a crossover of the 'Alien' and 'Predator' universes. Plus 'Dan Da Dan', because it is just crazy anime action with ghosts, aliens and cryptids."
