It's the start of a new week, space fans, and Monday could kick things off in a big way if SpaceX's Starship launches on its tenth test flight tonight.
The massive stainless steel rocket was scheduled to launch last night, but the flight was called off 17 minutes before its window opened due to an issue with ground equipment. SpaceX will now try again tonight (Aug. 25) during a one-hour window that opens at 7:30 p.m. EDT (2330 GMT).
Aside from Starship's potential tenth test flight today, we've got travel tips for the 2027 total solar eclipse, a stunning pairing of the moon and Mars on Aug. 26, and a fascinating new theory about black holes forming inside of giant planets, consuming them from the inside.
Ad astra,
