Do we really know what will happen with Starship? No.
Space.com
Happy Tuesday, space fans,

Starting off, we look to the moon and NASA's upcoming Artemis missions. To go from crewed missions like Artemis II to missions that actually land astronauts on the moon's surface, we will need a lunar lander. This could possibly be SpaceX's Starship vehicle. But how will it work? How will we refuel it? We're taking a deep dive into these questions.

Speaking of uncertainty, the star Betelgeuse keeps dimming and changing its brightness. But why? Let's explore the mystery of Betelgeuse together. And perhaps one of the more exciting recent space mysteries, we take a fresh look at the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS and where it might have come from with new observations from the James Webb Space Telescope.

Check out what's big in space below:

And that's it for our space update today.

Space is full of mysteries, and today we are chock-full of them. Will Starship be ready to land humans on the moon? Can we refuel and reuse it as it's intended? Why is Betelgeuse dimming, and what lies in the star's future? And where did the interstellar interloper 3I/ATLAS actually come from, and what can we learn about the universe from studying its journey through the cosmos? We might not have all of the answers today, but the journey to get them is half the fun.

Looking into the future, we will soon see NASA's Swift space telescope hurtle back to Earth. Where will it land? Follow our coverage to keep tabs on the falling observatory. And this weekend, Space.com will be live on the scene reporting out from NASA's MAX POWER air show at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. But it won't be all airplanes, we are expecting it to be a space-tastic weekend, and we look forward to sharing it with all of you. To follow closely along and stay up to date with all things space, you can now get Space.com right in the palm of your hand with our new app available now on iOS and Android.
