Discovery: Giant comet was active way farther from the sun than expected

A new study led by astronomers at the University of Maryland shows that Comet Bernardinelli-Bernstein (BB) became active much farther from the sun than expected. So far out, temperatures are too cold for water ice to turn to vapor.

NASA postpones spacewalk at space station due to space debris warning

A scheduled spacewalk by two NASA astronauts outside of the International Space Station has been postponed after a debris warning for the orbiting outpost caused NASA to act on the side of caution.
