This narrowband image, taken with 11 hours of exposure on an 11-inch scope, renders the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405) in Auriga in false color. The image was not taken in exactly the traditional Hubble palette (SHO), but uses the Askar ColorMagic D1 (Ha/OIII) and D2 (SII/OIII) duo-narrowband filters to achieve similar results.
