Dear reader,
I'm writing to share the news that after the end of March 2022, Inside Science will no longer be producing new content.
I understand this was a challenging, strategic decision by our parent organization, the American Institute of Physics, to allow the institute to shift finite resources to new priority initiatives that further support advancing the physical sciences.
Whether you've been an ardent supporter of Inside Science over these past few decades, or you've recently stumbled upon our work through search, our team is grateful to have had your time and attention. Our stories and videos were shared on our website, YouTube and through syndication to numerous media outlets where they reached millions of people.
Please watch the website as we will continue publishing new stories, videos and podcasts throughout this month.
The website insidescience.org will continue to be available to readers after March. The organization hopes that AIP's other outlets such as the flagship magazine Physics Today and science policy newsletter FYI can provide you with answers to some of science's big questions. Members of the Society of Physics Students will continue to receive The SPS Observer, and members and alumni of Sigma Pi Sigma, the physics honor society, will continue to receive the magazine Radiations.
In addition to other upcoming stories, our team will soon share a collection of our favorite stories and videos from over the years.
Thank you once again for your readership.
Stay curious about our expanding universe,
