For centuries, humans have looked to the night sky for navigation and inspiration. Today, we also look to the sky to help answer questions, like how our universe began and evolved; how galaxies, stars and planets came to be; and whether we are alone.

Join scientists from the James Webb Space Telescope project, the Roman Space Telescope mission and the Pandora Project for a discussion about how research at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, is helping to answer these questions and more.
Join the NASA STEM Engagement & Educator Professional Development
Collaborative at Texas State University for live educational webinars.

Collaborate With NASA
Audience: Researchers From U.S.-based Industry, Academia and Private Research Institutions
Mandatory Preliminary Proposal Deadline: July 26

The 2021 Tech Flights solicitation offers funding to researchers from U.S.-based industry, academia and private research institutions to rapidly test technologies on commercial suborbital vehicles with awards up to $650,000. Through NASA’s Flight Opportunities program, awardees receive a grant or cooperative agreement allowing them to purchase flights directly from any eligible U.S. commercial flight provider that best suits its technology demonstration. These vehicles include suborbital rockets, rocket-powered vertical takeoff and vertical landing vehicles, high-altitude balloons and aircraft flying reduced-gravity (e.g., parabolic) flight profiles.
Audience: Minority Serving Institutions
Response Deadline: Aug. 27

NASA’s Earth Science Division is seeking feedback from faculty members, staff and administrators of Minority Serving Institutions to enhance participation and engagement in NASA’s Earth science investigator community. The request for information offers an opportunity for the community to provide information to NASA about potential interest in affiliating with one or more of a subset of the surface-based measurement networks of NASA’s Earth Science Division, including hosting instruments and engaging students in data analysis.
