SpaceX is 'go' to launch its 29th cargo mission

SpaceX's next robotic cargo mission to the Space Station has been cleared for its Thursday (Nov. 9) liftoff. If all goes according to plan, the Dragon will arrive at the ISS around 5:20 a.m. EST (1020 GMT), Nov. 11. You can watch the launch, rendezvous and docking at Space.com.

Curiosity recently passed 4,000 "sols," or Martian days, on Mars since landing on Aug. 5, 2012. The rover is a key part of NASA's search for life on Mars and continues to pull up evidence of minerals, rocks and other parts of the environment shaped by water.

Exoplanet-hunting TESS telescope spies 8 'super-Earths'

To date, TESS has confirmed almost 400 exoplanets, and yet another 6,977 await confirmation. The satellite observes nearby stars, waiting for dips, or fluctuations in the brightness of the stars.

SpaceX will launch Ireland's 1st-ever satellite this month

The Educational Irish Research Satellite 1, or EIRSAT-1, was built by University College Dublin students as part of the ESA Academy's Fly Your Satellite! (FYS) program. The gamma-ray astronomy cubesat project began in 2017 and is now due to fly on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at the end of November.

Based on fan response at the fan panel, "Star Trek: Lower Decks: Warp Your Own Way" is possibly the most Trek project that IDW plans to put out in the next few months. NYCC 2023 marks the first time we learned about the book, but Antos promised some additional information between now and its release date in Fall 2024.
