Celebrate International Astronomy Day
On Saturday, May 18, the world gazes skyward to celebrate International Astronomy Day. From our nearest neighbor, the Moon, to distant galaxies and beyond, astronomers study these celestial objects to help us better understand our universe.

Make a STEM connection to the beauty and wonder of astronomy with these resources:
Learn how to spot planets, meteor showers, and more with monthly skywatching tips from NASA.
Find events with amateur astronomy clubs in your area for unique stargazing experiences.
Are you curious about the origin of life on Earth and the potential for life beyond our planet? Explore the story of life in the Universe – or at least the story as we know it so far – with this series of graphic novels about the history of astrobiology.
